Dame Darcy
The Tunti Enterprises logo was created by Dame Darcy. If you’ve never heard of this Renaissance Woman, please, please go get to know her. She’s a cartoonist, fine artist, bluegrass musician, storyteller, dollmaker, and genuinely beautiful and stellar human being.
Way back when I was an editor at the comic book company through which she published her Meat Cake comics, one of my tasks was to proofread before production. I spent a lot of time laughing till I cried, with my red pen in hand. One of my prized possessions is a signed print I received for my birthday from one of my very best friends. And I keep the original logo artwork in a frame above my desk.
